About the Author

Dermot Lucey teaches at Ballincollig Community School, Co. Cork. He is a member of the Central Executive Committee of the History Teachers' Association of Ireland, and Editor of the Association's journal, Stair. He is a member of the Junior Certificate History Course Committee and is author of a number of History textbooks, including Modern Europe and the Wider World and Shortcuts to Success History Exam Guide for Leaving Certificate.
