Synopsis

Wildlife Under Threat by

The 'Wildlife Under Threat' poster shows fifteen animals which are classified as vulnerable, endangered, critically endangered or extinct in the wild, such as the Arabian Oryx, the Hyacinth Macaw and the Yellow Seahorse. Each animal is located on the map, and accompanied by a 'fact card' giving their Latin name, distribution, IUCN status, the circumstances leading to them being endangered and details of conservation plans. Information beneath the map explains the work of the Zoological Society of London and the World Conservation Union.
