The Homework books aim to make homework a positive learning experience, reinforcing core subjects (English, maths and science) and cross-curricular thinking skills, through enjoyable practice activities (with pull-out answers section). The photocopiable edition provides a flexible teacher's resource and contains the same pages as the pupil book. Book 3 is aimed at Year 5 pupils (ages 9-10) and includes: literacy - reading comprehension/nouns and adjectives/plural words/spelling, maths - money/2-d shapes/fractions/number problems/vertical addition & subtraction (with borrowing & carrying)/multiplication squares, science - the earth and what it is made of/the earth's atmosphere/gravity.
