The King has to be up early one morning, but will he be able to wake up in time? The Queen tries to wake him, and the Prime Minister tries to wake him, and the guards in their shiny uniforms try to wake him, but nothing seems to work.

Ruth Muller is a retired teacher with more than thirty years' experience as a class and special-needs teacher. She enjoys reading, gardening and looking after her grandchildren. Ruth initially wrote The Important Appointment for their entertainment.
