About the Author

Charlie Megahey is a retired merchant navy man. He married his wife, Gwendoline, in Southampton on 5 November 1960. They have four children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. They ate still very happy together. His children and grandchildren always loved the stories he would tell them and here are the two they loved the most.
