Synopsis

Noah's Ark Touch and Feel by Caroline Jayne Church

When Noah is told by God that it is going to rain for a long time, he builds a big boat to shelter the animals. As the dark grey clouds gather, Noah finds two of every animal to join him on the Akk - soft tigers, rough elephants, furry giraffes and fluffy rabbits. There the rough and the smooth animals shelter together until the rains stop and the floods clear - and the reader discovers the surprise lift-the-flap ending. Pared-down text allows the colourful illustrations to tell the story, whilst the textured panel on each double page spread will allow the reader to engage with the story, feeling the different animals as they read the book, and come to learn and love the Noah's Ark story for themselves. Also available: Baby Jesus: Touch and Feel (978 0 7459 6016 6)
