Synopsis

Bible Stories for Little Angels by Sarah J. Dodd

This charming retelling of 10 favourite Bible stories combines respect for the biblical original with a warm-hearted and original child's eye view of the events. The adorable pastel illustrations evoke the warmest of sentiments for the stories which include: When the World Began; Noah Listens to God; Abraham and the Promise; The Baby in the Basket; Daniel in Danger; A Baby Like No Other; Wild Weather; Jesus Helps a Little Girl; Jesus and the Children; and A Sad Day, A Glad Day. The result is a book that is utterly appealing. Sarah J. Dodd and Dubravka Kolanovic have also worked on Bedtime Stories for Little Angels and Christmas Stories for Little Angels.
