Stories of Ghosts by Russell Punter

Stories of Ghosts by Russell Punter

Three not-so-scary stories with easy-reading text for children who have just started reading on their own. Includes stories about a ghostly hotel, a school for spirits and a haunted TV set. Part of the Usborne Reading Programme developed with reading experts at the University of Roehampton.

'Irresistible for children learning to read' - Child Education Plus; 'The Usborne Young Reading Program has a lovely selection of classic tales adapted for younger readers. About the Author

Russell Punter

Russell’s earliest ambition was to become an artist, well third earliest actually, after dating Marie Osmond and becoming the first 9 year old to play the part of Doctor Who.

He joined Usborne Publishing as a designer in 1987 but since discovering his literary side in 2003, he has written over twenty books for the company.

He loves writing for children and his biggest fan is his niece, although he’s not letting the fact that she’s not yet old enough to read bother him.

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.
