Reviews

Chester the dog is feeling lonely. His special friend, Tilda, hasn't come out to play, and Chester can't find her anywhere. Wherever can she be? Chester searches for her everywhere, in all their favourite places. He looks around the shop. He looks around the school, where the children make a big fuss of him, but he still can't find Tilda. He even manages to be brave enough to look in the dinosaur park. He asks his friend Sharky, but Sharky doesn't know where Tilda is either. It's very mysterious. Poor Chester! He goes home sadly, alone - but he's in for a lovely surprise! This simple but charming story will intrigue toddlers as they join Chester in his search for Tilda, and they will be delighted with the surprise that awaits him. This is the first book from Olivia Villet, who has also provided the bright, bold illustrations. Ages 2-4 (Kirkus UK)
