Activities are all structured around Word, Sentence and Text levels and matched to the National Framework for Teaching English. Designed to encourage group discussion and interaction with activities that require pupils to think and explain, not passively listen, promoting speaking and listening skills. Ready-built lessons are provided for whole class teaching, plus a range of differentiated activities for starters main and plenaries. The lesson planning tool enables you to build and save lessons using the activities provided, or import your text and images to create additional resources. Printable teacher's notes provide suggestions for differentiation in the classroom and show how assessment can be used to meet learning needs, therefore addressing Assessment for Learning criteria. A search facility enables the user to access material via various criteria including title, topic, Framework objectives and keywords. Mapping is provided for the National Curriculum Attainment Targets and Nelson Thornes Framework English.
