About the Author

Dave Hanson was born in Birmingham in 1952. He worked for 30 years as a History teacher in Hull before taking early retirement. He is married with two grown up children. His interests include mountain walking, skiing, birdwatching, natural history and watching Walsall FC whenever possible.
