Synopsis

George the Knight by Leon Read

George really wants to be a knight, but first he must find a sword...and a shield...and a horse! The Tiddlers series features fun stories with a word count of fewer than 50 words for children who are just starting to read. A word list at the start of the book allows you to check the child's ability to decode and understand each word before reading, providing a fully supported first reading experience. And a puzzle at the end of the story encourages rereading for pleasure.

About the Author

Leon Read has written several books and short stories for children and is always coming up with wacky ideas for new ones. He lives in the three counties with his wife and son, who is desperate for him to write a book about Emergency Rescue Dinosaurs.
