Synopsis

Air Raids by Martin Parsons

Evacuation was one of the many extraordinary events which took place in Britain during the Second World War. Why were thousands of children sent away from their families? Who looked after them? This book helps the reader answer these questions by looking at their local area. There are also mysteries and puzzles to solve.
