Synopsis

Simple Mechanisms by Ade Deane-Pratt

Combining Science and Design and Technology, this series examines simple machines and where we can find them in everyday objects. A scientific explanation with the help of annotated diagrams and illustrations is followed by examples of objects that make use of the various simple machines such as pulleys, gears and wedges.
