Refugees by Cath Senker

Refugees by Cath Senker

The Global Issues series addresses important issues that affect everyone in the 21st century, exploring their history and causes through to their impact and the various responses to them. This title look at refugees - why people become refugees, the impact they have on society, and the attitudes of the media and the general public towards them. The case studies included as 'People in the News' spreads, and the examination of the world medias coverage of these topics, provide a unique insight into these issues in the infotainment age.

Well presented... it will provide plenty of information... whilst at the same time acting as a springboard for further discussion. School Librarian
