About the Author

Steve Augarde is a writer and illustrator. He has been writing for children for over 30 years and has published over 80 books, ranging from story books and pop-up books for young readers to his recent novels for older children: the captivating Touchstone trilogy of novels: THE VARIOUS (a Nestle Smarties Book Prize winner in 2003), CELANDINE (nominated for the Carnegie medal in 2005) and WINTER WOOD.
