Incredible Journeys by Dwight Holing

This title helps you to follow the amazing migration stories of creatures as diverse as the African wildebeest, the plains zebra, the American monarch butterfly, the Mexican free-tailed bat and the Pacific bluefin tuna as they travel from one habitat to another to find food, avoid extreme temperatures, or to breed. Witness the perils of the terrain they cross, the ocean depths they plumb and the skies they traverse, and find out how they navigate huge distances with pinpoint accuracy. This title helps you to discover how migrating creatures survive the hardships of the journey, escape predators and achieve their goal, despite unforseen dangers and near-starvation.
