Magnets A Fascinating Fact File and Learn-it-yourself Project Book by Steve Parker

This lively and practical book will tell you how magnets make engines work, how they help you find your way, and even how magnets can be switched on and off. Fascinating and easy-to-do projects, such as how to make your own magnet out of a paper-clip or a nail, or how to turn a bowl of water and needle into a compass, will help you to understand the principles of magnetism.
