Synopsis

Children's Bible Stories by Victoria Parker

The favourite and most important stories of the Bible are retold here in simple language and with clear explanations of their meanings. From Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, and Jonah and the Whale to Jesus on the Sea at Galilee, and the Last Supper, all the favourite stories are told in an accessible, lively style that will hold the reader's attention. Fact panels give insight into people and places and colourful maps show where biblical events took place, making sure that young readers can put the stories into context.
