Little Old Big Beard and Big Young Little Beard are the best of friends and the best of cowboys. One evening, sitting by the campfire, they discover their cow, Grace, has disappeared. So off they go, around and around their favourite hill and up the next hill to look for their beloved cow. Just when they think she's lost forever, she finds them, and they end up back together, the loveable trio they've always been. This simple, funny story with its appealingly naive illustrations is perfect for reading aloud, or for young learners to read by themselves.

About the Author

* Remy Charlip was named a national treasure by the Library of Congress in a major exhibition, A Celebration of Remy Charlip. * Remy's artwork has been featured at the Lincoln Center Library in New York; The Remy Charlip Library in Delaware; the San Francisco Library in a retrospective, Remy Charlip's World; and at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, where he was named artist-in-residence. He has won three New York Times 10 Best Illustrated Book of the Year awards, 11 National Endowment of the Arts grants, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian's Lifetime Achievement award. Mr. Charlip lives in San Francisco, USA. * Tamara Rettenmund lives in Amsterdam, where she is studying at the Theatre School.
