The Children's Book of Family Blessings by Ellen J. Kendig

The Children's Book of Family Blessings by Ellen J. Kendig

These fun, faith-filled prayers zero in on what's truly essential to kids aged four to ten - the important people in their lives, the ordinary events of every day, and those special family occasions that children love best. Nearly thirty selections provide multiple opportunities for daily prayer. Each prayer is written in lively prose from a child's point of view, suitable for kids to either cuddle up with a loved one or to proudly use alone with their newly developed reading skills. In addition, each prayer can be used comfortably by both unchurched Christians as well as those active in any denomination. This universally appealing collection - - uses imaginative, kid-friendly language - emphasizes day-to-day family activities - includes a unique prayer for each day of the week following the Creation Story - notes special occasions with prayers for pets, trips, illness, problems, school, holidays, and more - has full-color illustrations in vibrant jewel tones - can be used in both personal, group, and institutional settings

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.
