Synopsis

The Taming of Lola A Shrew Story by Ellen Weiss

Lola is a shrew, and a mean one at that, she's always whining and complaining and being difficult. Lola's brothers and sisters are fed up and her parents have just plain given up, so Lola always gets her way. The real trouble begins when Lola's cousin Lester comes to stay with her family and it turns out, he's meaner than she is! Suddenly Lester is getting special treatment just because he demands it, and her parents even give Lester Lola's bed. Lola and Lester find themselves in screaming matches and fights over the silliest things. Will Lola ever learn her lesson? Will Lester learn his? A wonderful book with a valuable message that isn't preachy, but delivered with warmth and charm.
