Synopsis

Sally's Great Balloon Adventure by Stephen Huneck

Sally's family takes her to see the hot air balloons take off, but the smell of fried chicken lures Sally on to a balloon. Soon she's high above the ground, all by herself! There are Sally spottings and Sally's family hatches several harebrained schemes to get her down. Finally, while passing over a schoolyard, a student saves Sally - and she finally gets some of the delicious fried chicken she'd been travelling with!

About the Author

Stephen Huneck is an internationally acclaimed painter, sculptor, and printmaker. Along with his wife, Gwen, he is the owner of Stephen Huneck Galleries on Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont; in Woodstock, Vermont; and in Breckinridge, Colorado. His hand-carved furniture, sculpture, and woodcut prints are included in various prestigious private and museum collections, including those of the Smithsonian Institution and the Museum of American Folk Art.
