Colour in Christmas by Jan Godfrey

Synopsis

Colour in Christmas by Jan Godfrey

Here is a colouring book that is also a story book to celebrate what happened at the very first Christmas. The birth of Jesus is retold for the very young, with panels to colour in on each spread. Children will love the repetitive nature of the story and the noises made by the animals on that first Christmas night.

About the Author

Jan Godfrey is an experienced writer for children under seven, with many published books to her name. A former schoolteacher, she is now retired. She is married to a Church of England clergyman, has four grown-up children and many grandchildren. Paula Doherty studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Chelsea School of Art. She has specialised in children's illustrated books for 15 years using a mixture of paint, collage and, more recently, Photoshop. She lives in Reigate in Surrey with her son, a dog and a cat. She likes to travel to new places, armed with a sketchbook, and to potter in the garden, take long walks with the dog, sew and make elaborate hand-cut paper cuts.
