The Lovereading4Kids comment

A joyful celebration of the physical book in all its glory! For the very young, books can be anything from a chair, a tower, to a hat but the best thing they can be - is a book - and it's never too soon to share a good book with your little ones.

Win a copy of HATS OF FAITH

There should be more books like this: in bright, appealing illustrations it tells children how people of different faiths cover their heads to show their love for God. This beautifully illustrated, board book aims to teach children, parents and educators about the shared custom of head covering across the Jewish, Sikh, Christian, Rastafarian, and Islamic faiths. Hats of Faith helps prepare young children for our culturally diverse, modern world and encourages tolerance and understanding.

To have a chance of winning one of three copies of Hats of Faith, click the button below. Please note that this draw is open only for UK residents and is free to enter, multiple entries from the same email address will only be counted once.

About the Author

Jane Blatt

Jane Blatt, mother of 2 grown-up children and spouse to an American scientist, lives and works in Glasgow. She is an experienced teacher of young children and an accomplished violinist. Working with the Nosy Crow Team 'has been great fun' and she hopes that this foray into the commercial world will not be her last! Jane believes that keeping real books alive through the play and learning of young children is vital to the continuance of the whole genre as well as being a basis for the later skills of reading and writing.
