Synopsis

Ferdinand Fox's Big Sleep Colouring Book by Karen Inglis

A delightful rhyming picture book and colouring book in one - perfect for ages 3-5 Ferdinand Fox curled up in the sun, as the church of St Mary struck quarter past one. His tummy was full, he was ready for sleep, and closing his eyes he began to count sheep. As Ferdinand Fox falls asleep in Peter Maceever's back garden one afternoon, we learn through his dream bubbles about all of his favourite food - including sausages, chocolate, cakes and ice cream! Perfect for parents to read aloud to children aged 3-5, with plenty to talk about. They will also love the rhyming text and bold black and white line drawings for colouring in. Also available as a full colour picture book . Why not get both so that your child can copy the colours?!

About the Author

Karen Inglis

Karen Inglis lives in Barnes, southwest London. She’s been writing ever since she was little and still has a box of her daily diaries hidden in a cupboard somewhere. She also had many pen friends in far-flung places as a child. Of course that was back in the day of handwriting and posting letters – so it often took months to get a reply!

As well as writing for children Karen writes for business, but she far prefers making up stories. Her time travel adventure, The Secret Lake, sat in a box in her office for over 10 years – she’s very glad she got it out as it’s now been enjoyed by over 7,000 readers! Karen has two grown-up boys, George and Nick, and it was reading to them that inspired her to start writing for children.
