Synopsis

Dragons in the Wild Place by J. Evelyn Morrison

The story is set in a garden not far from here where the little boy, Robert, is staying with his gran. At the bottom of the garden, there is a mysterious 'Wild Place' where just about anything can happen! One day, Robert finds signs that a dragon is about: the scorched branches of the Three Enormous Conifers and also the huge tail that is lying among the leaves. As he is a very brave boy, he decides to tackle the terrible dragon by pretending to be a dragon himself while his gran waits anxiously nearby. But what a surprise is waiting for Robert when he goes 'all by himself' into 'The Wild Place'...
