Cooper's Pack London by Kyle & Groot

Cooper's Pack London by Kyle & Groot

Cooper's Pack Children's Travel Guides: Cooper across the pond to London where he meets L.L. (Little Lambie the London Hipster). The two explore some of London's greatest sights including Covent Garden, the South Bank, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and many stops in between. Cooper learns that English words can mean different things and that indeed, biscuits are cookies! The book includes over 100 hidden secrets, or buried bones along with an educational activity section. The coordinating iPad application decodes the buried bones along with offering additional interactive elements.

About the Author

Brandon Rudd created the Cooper's Pack concept and characters after returning from a trip to Thailand in 2003. He began designing stuffed animals, creating logos and typesets, and inventing back-stories for the cast of characters. Drawing on his years of entrepreneurial ventures, Cooper slowly came to life in a world of stuffed animals traveling around the world, city by city. Brandon has been writing his entire life and got his start when his 4th grade teacher on Bainbridge Island submitted Brandon's story to a Young Author's Conference. Through this experience Brandon continued on a path of a young aspiring author creating the Winslow Advertiser (an advert circulated on Bainbridge Island), Exhibition (a visual and literary arts magazine published on the island featuring many famous authors and artists including Brandon's teacher, David Guterson), and DB-Ski (a ski bus service consisting of 2 Greyhound busses). After securing his MBA, he founded Artistic Resources & Technology in 1996 (digital signs, wearable televisions, graphic design services, and even producer roles in Las Vegas shows). Martin McCann is a talented graphic designer and illustrator who lives in Seattle, WA. Ever since the invention of Photoshop 1.0, Martin has taken his mastery of digital graphic design and parlayed it into a variety of interesting projects including websites, logos, unique graphics, and of course, bringing Cooper to life in the pages of the Cooper's Pack book series. Martin is an avid bike rider and enjoys spending time on Alki Beach where he resides. It should be noted that Martin choose to utilize the pen name Groot, which means large in Dutch, in appreciation of his favorite culture and robust size.
