About the Author

Maxine Warner has been in the entertainment business from a very early age having had a couple of records released under the name of Maxine Darren (visit YouTube: Maxine Darren). Maxine has also performed at the London Palladium and has sung on several children's TV programmes including Song Book, Five O'Clock Club and Children in Need and made many other live TV appearances. In recent years Maxine has developed her singing and is now an accomplished opera singer (visit YouTube: Maxine Warner). It was only after becoming a grandmother that Maxine's children's stories and songs started to develop and she says that this is where all her inspiration came from to become a composer and author. While her grandchildren Amber, Josh, Jayda, Annie and Willow were growing up Maxine would make up stories and songs that fitted in with their everyday life and this was how the delightful concept of the Tidderly Pops was born. She then decided to get in touch with former Lemon Tree members Lynton and Barbara to help with the musical side of this book. These stories and songs have proven to be so popular with her own grandchildren and all their friends that it inspired her to create a series so that children everywhere could enjoy them in the very same way. Arrangements by Lynton Susman Manchester born, Lynton is an accomplished and talented keyboard player/arranger. At his own studio, he has created a range of colourful and memorable musical arrangements to compliment Maxine's wonderful stories and characters, so bringing them to life. Vocals by Maxine Warner and Barbara Hilton Barbara is an experienced recording artiste, with a background in TV, Radio and also as a live performer in hotels and restaurants. Working closely with both Maxine and Lynton, she has added her own inimitable style and versatile approach to these very charming creations.A percentage of the profits from this book will be going to The Tomas Leighton Charity fund.
