About the Author

Hy Conrad has received three Edgar nominations for his mystery writing. He began his career as a New York - based playwright, and has since developed numerous games for Parker Brothers and Milton-Bradley, as well as interactive mysteries. During the late 1990s, Hy was the creative director of Mysterynet, the largest Web site devoted to the mystery genre. For the past seven years, he has been writing and producing the TV detective series Monk. This is his tenth book of short mysteries published by Sterling.
