Scythian Metalwork Kit by Metropolitan Museum of Art

Scythian Metalwork Kit by Metropolitan Museum of Art

This title is suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years old. The Scythian Metalwork Kit was inspired by a gold griffin in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art that's about 2600 years old and probably came from a city in Russia. In ancient times, the griffin was usually associated with divine beings and thought to possess protective powers. This kit includes a plastic mould, two sheets of gold-coloured metal, a rubbing tool, a stylus and a museum label, plus a brochure of instructions, photographs and information about the design.

A great way to introduce kids to great books, authors & genres. Parents can find age-appropriate books to share with their children.

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.
