Monkey and the Little One by Claire Alexander

Monkey and the Little One by Claire Alexander

From the author of 'Back to Front and Upside Down' and 'Lucy and the Bull' comes a beautiful story of love and friendship. Monkey lived all alone in the jungle. He liked it that way. Monkey lives a quiet life, alone in the jungle. At least, he does until a visitor arrives and spoils his peace. The Little One makes himself right at home, he wants to share Monkey's jungle and life. Will this odd couple get along or go their separate ways? A charming, warm-hearted tale of the importance of friendship and the power of jam sandwiches. The perfect story time read for kids ages 3 and up. Look out for Millie Shares and The Best Bit of Daddy's Day.

Warm illustrations and a persistent mouse make this a charming book about friendship -- Libby Allman The Best New Children's Books
