About the Author

Kate Irwin is a debut author. She is fascinated by children, animals and psychology. She loves music, especially if she can dance to it. She lives in Stockport with her husband, foster daughter, cat and rabbit. Illustrator Clare Elsom has a BA in Illustration and an MA in Children's Literature. She draws inspiration from clutter, colour, facial expressions and meerkats, and is usually to be found searching for her glasses (which are on her head). Series consultant Nikki Gamble is the director of Just Imagine, a specialist resource and training centre for Primary English. She is Associate Consultant at the University of London, Institute of Education.
