About the Author

Author Elizabeth Dale has written short stories for magazines all over the world. She has had over twenty books for children published, including her other Reading Ladder story My Secret Alien. Elizabeth lives in West Sussex. Illustrator Vicki Gausden studied for a BA (Hons) Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2005 and being awarded a Master of Design degree in 2007. She works from her Edinburgh studio with her dogs, Roo and Bella, and Siamese cat Bobby for company. Series consultant Nikki Gamble is the director of Just Imagine, a specialist resource and training centre for Primary English. She is Associate Consultant at the University of London, Institute of Education.
