This is a high-interest library and classroom resource to help students understand rock formation, processes and characteristics.Differentiated from the Freestyle Geology Rocks series of the same name, this parallel Freestyle Express series uses simplified text and an attractive layout with a clear sequence, making it easy for the less confident reader to follow.It is designed for 11-15 year pupils with a reading age of 8 years. It incorporates a lowered text level that allows struggling readers to access and understand the curriculum basics. It can be used in the classroom in conjunction with the Freestyle version.
