Synopsis

Monster Magic by Louise Simonson

On a remote island, scientists discover an exotic plant, which they hope will lead to a medical breakthrough. Instead, when they return to Washington, D.C., the rare fauna brings on a monstrous breakout. The sinister sorceress, Circe, attacks the city with her magical malice. Even Wonder Woman, the Princess of the Amazons, can't escape her cruel charms, and if the Lasso of the Truth won't set her free, the capital city will soon become Circe's domain.

About the Author

Louise Simonson writes about monsters, science fiction and fantasy characters, and superheroes. She wrote the award-winning Power Pack series, several best-selling X-Men titles, Web of Spider-man for Marvel Comics, and Superman: Man of Steel and Steel for DC Comics. She has also written many books for kids. She is married to comic artist and writer Walter Simonson and lives in the suburbs of New York City. Dan Schoening was born in Victoria, B.C. Canada. From an early age, Dan has had a passion for animation and comic books. Currently, Dan does freelance work in the animation and game industry and spends a lot of time with his lovely little daughter, Paige.
