About the Author

Claire Throp loves sea mammals and spent far too long looking at them while supposedly doing research for this book! She has written children's nonfiction on subjects ranging from countries to sports to. She lives just outside Oxford, England. Melanie Waldron worked in children's publishing for many years before becoming a full-time author. She has written many non-fiction books for young people and specializes in science and geography topics. Mary Colson is a teacher and a writer. She is fascinated by the world and the cultures of different countries, with their unique myths and legends.
