Questions You Never Thought You'd Ask, Pack A by Paul Mason, Kay Barnham

Books in the Questions You Never Thought You'd Ask series take a fun look at different subjects by asking and answering a series of quirky yet thought-provoking questions. Although primarily a recreational read, the books nevertheless contain both useful curriculum-based material as well as a wealth of other fascinating and bizarre facts about animals, the human body, history, science, and technology.
