The King of Quizzical Island by Gordon Snell

The King of Quizzical Island by Gordon Snell

When the King of Quizzical Island decides to visit the edge of the world, nothing and no one will stand in his way. What will he find? What adventures await? And won't he fall off the edge? First published over thirty years ago, the King's comical, quizzical adventures are every bit as fresh and funny today, and this glorious new edition, including colour art for the very first time, will delight readers of every age.

There is only one way to prove the earth is round and the King takes a spade and gets digging ... A rhythmical text gallops along, past elegant, intriguing pictures. Great to read aloud. Carousel
