Tracks of a Panda by Nick Dowson

This is a tender tale of the survival of one of our world's best-loved and most endangered bears with accompanying CD.High on a mist-wrapped mountain in China, a mother panda holds her newborn cub gently in her giant paw. Through harsh winter and lush spring, she must protect and care for him while he grows and learns to walk, swim, climb and feed himself. In the accompanying CD (aprox. 90 min), actor Stephen Tompkinson explores the wonderful world of pandas through information, music and story.

About the Author

Nick Dowson, now an English and Drama teacher, has worked as a bracken cutter, a graphic designer, and as one of the dynamite crew for a survey company. Nick lives with his partner in Suffolk. Yu Rong was born and raised in China. She worked as a computer designer, arts and crafts creator and children's book illustrator for five years before moving to England with her husband.
