About the Author

Clare Jarrett is the author/illustrator of several children's books, including The Best Picnic Ever (9781844285532) and Catherine and the Lion, winner of the prestigious Mother Goose Award for the most exciting newcomer to British children's book illustration. She has worked as a fine-art painter and printmaker, and has exhibited her work internationally. She lives in Norwich.
