About the Author

Max Eilenberg is the author of the much acclaimed Beauty and the Beast, illustrated by Angela Barrett (9781844287208), and Squeak's Good Idea, illustrated by Patrick Benson (9780744589368). Max lives in London, N5.Niamh Sharkey is Ireland's laureate for children's literature, Laureate na nOg. She won the Bisto Book of the Year Award and the Mother Goose Award for Illustration in 1999 for Tales of Wisdom and Wonder, written by Hugh Lupton. She was also joint winner of the Highland Children's Book Awards 2007 (Picture Book category) for the soon-to-be-televised I'm a Happy Hugglewug (9781406303964). In addition she is the creator of The Ravenous Beast (9781844284979) and Santasaurus (9781844285235), as well as the award-winning On the Road with Mavis and Marge (9781406329988).
