Grandad Pot by Siobhan Dodds

Mealtimes are always fun at Grandad's - especially when there are uninvited guests...What a surprise for Grandad Pot, Polly is coming to stay! And so is Henry, who particularly likes jelly and ice cream; and so is Rosie, who likes banana sandwiches best; and, so is George, whose favourite food is sausages. Knock Knock Knock! Here they all come - how will Grandad Pot ever cope? This very young picture book is a firm family favourite. Grandad Pot has sold over 50,000 copies since it was first published in 1993.

It has introduced my children to books we hadn’t come across before. Real children’s reviews gives a great insight into what others think to

I am so pleased to have signed my kids up as they are reading a much wider range of books and even choosing books out of their comfort zone.
