About the Author

June Crebbin was a primary school teacher before taking early retirement to concentrate on her writing. She is the author of a number of books for children, including Jumping Beany (9781406305197), Saving Oscar (9781406301991), Invasion (9781406305029), The Train Ride (9780744547016) and Cows in the Kitchen (9780744569476), and she has edited story anthologies such as Horse Tales (9780744592788). A frequent visitor to primary schools, where she gives readings, talks and workshops, June lives in Leicestershire with her husband.
