Synopsis

Daring World War Two Stories for Boys by Jim Eldridge

These thrilling wartime adventures transport the reader to the heat of battle. 'Depth-charge Danger' sees submariner John Smith on a top-secret mission using the experimental and dangerous X-craft. 'Night Bomber' takes the action to the sky as John prepares to risk his life to destroy V2 rockets. 'Island of Fear' follows John during the invasion of Iwo Jima, one of the Second World War's most ferocious battles. Riveting fictionalized accounts, packed with historical detail, give a new immediacy to the Second World War that will enthral young readers.
