This unique text bonds essential subject knowledge with practical teaching skills, and covers topical issues such as bullying, resilience, behaviour for learning, and sex and relationships education. The book is divided into four distinct parts: Social Development and Education, including conflict resolution and celebrating diversity; Personal Development and Education, tackling topics such as emotional literacy and coping with life transitions; Coordinating PSHE offers guidance for new and aspiring PSHE coordinators in all aspects of their role, including curriculum design and assessment; and the final part looks to The Future of PSHE.
