Delightfully stylised and the layout of text and pictures actually seems very modern. Genuinely timeless, magical and worth its hardback reprint. The School Librarian

About the Author

Annette Tison is the co-creator of the famous 'Barbapapa' series, the children's books that became popular during the 1970s. She studied architecture in Paris, where she met her husband Talus Taylor, a biology and math teacher from San Francisco, USA. Together, they came up with the 'Barbapapa' book series that started in 1970. A series of comic books followed as did a television series that provided a whole generation with fond memories of the colorful Barbapapa family.
