Synopsis

More, More, More! by Dawn Casey

Breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's always the same ...krill! So one small whale decides to try something different and is soon embarking upon a journey of culinary discovery. However, as with most eating adventures, this small whale bites off more than he can chew and eventually krill don't seem so bad.

Reviews

'Vibrant colours and friendly marine creatures make for an instantly appealing backdrop to More, More, More. Blending repetition with onomatopoeic phrases, the story allows the young to become vociferously involved as a baby whale ... delightfully fresh and ideal for sharing'

'If you like a bit of noise, action and child participation in your picture books, then this delightful story of a baby whale who decides to branch out from his daily diet of boring krill is perfect ... Lots of fun and bright, energetic illustrations will make this a bedtime favourite for reading out loud together'

'A humourous adventure brought to life with fabulous illustrations'

'This variation on the traditional Danish Fat Cat has that traditional tale's cumulative structure with the added delights of onomatopoeia, alliteration and rhyme, not to mention a whole feast of delicious sounding words. Nick Price's detailed portraits ... are in whale's words, brill '
