Synopsis

Old Tom's Big Book of Beauty by Leigh Hobbs

Angela Throgmorton adores Old Tom, although she feels there's room for improvement. So she buys him a book, The Big Book of Beauty, which encourages Tom to make quite a few changes. Not all of them, Angela thinks, are for the better. When their established friendship is challenged by Old Tom's desire to smarten himself up, both Angela and Tom have to think hard about what is most important to them.
