Synopsis

Things to Make and Do: Fairy Cooking by Rebecca Gilpin

This title offers a fascinating look at the world's biggest bugs, including spiders bigger than a dinner plate, a stick insect longer than your arm, a beetle the same size as a rat, and moths and butterflies larger than a small dog. All bugs in the book appear life-size - so you can see how big they really are! This title also features the biggest swarms and colonies, the deadliest bugs, and the bugs that are best at camouflage. It includes 4 huge fold-out pages.

About the Author

Rebecca Gilpin has been happily writing Usborne books for nearly 10 years, including 15 Make and Do books. She lives at the seaside with her husband in a bright white house and writes her books in a glass room on the roof. Her favourite part of her work is transforming heaps of bits and bobs into fairies, pirates, or whatever else needs to be brought to life that day...
